Jenis-Jenis Pronouns

Ada tiga jenis pronouns utama yang akan kita bahas:

Kapan Menggunakan Subject Pronouns?

1. Sebagai Subjek Kalimat

• I love pizza.
• She works at a bank.
• They are playing football.
• We study English together.

2. Dalam Compound Subjects

• John and I are going to the movies.
• She and her sister look alike.
• My friends and we had dinner together.

Tips: Kalau ragu dengan compound subjects, coba hilangkan orang lain dari kalimat:

• "John and I are going" → "I am going" ✅
• "John and me are going" → "Me am going" ❌

Object Pronouns (Kata Ganti Objek)

Object pronouns digunakan sebagai objek dalam kalimat, yaitu yang menerima aksi dari subjek.

3. Dalam Compound Objects

Possessive Pronouns (Kata Ganti Kepemilikan)

Ada dua jenis possessive pronouns:

1. Possessive Adjectives (Kata Sifat Kepemilikan)

Digunakan sebelum noun untuk menunjukkan kepemilikan.

Perbedaan Penting: Its vs It's

Ini adalah kesalahan paling umum yang sering terjadi!
